Learning and development are both things I take seriously. I’m of the belief that managing a training room is both a privilege and a responsibility, so over the years I’ve developed methodologies and set benchmarks to establish the highest quality professional leadership communication training and coaching program. The selection process for trainers, journalists and partners are considerable, with high expectations to be met. I greatly value and support the right people to get the right training and coaching outcomes.

I have also pioneered a leading-edge approach.

Based on proven adult learning principles, persuasive communication theory coupled with solid communication leadership and media experience (both traditional and social) my approach is considered the best practice for today. I am committed to delivering an exceptional learning experience.

A strong ethos underpins all that I do and I expect a high standard of professionalism for everyone involved in delivering my programs. All educators, facilitators and partners who work with me share a standard of ethics and principles that meet (or exceed) international expectations and standards.

I am committed to doing all I can so that everyone who attends my programs has an exceptional learning experience.

Communication Superpowers

My Communication Superpowers

My clients choose to partner with me because I help them achieve ideal outcomes in high-stakes situations that make or break reputations. They trust me with their leaders, their teams and their plans.

According to my clients, these are my superpowers:

Superpower No. 1
I’m knowledgeable, smart, informed and highly experienced. In summary - I know my stuff!
(And I’ve been told I’m a total boss).

Superpower No. 2
I’m warm, genuine, engaging and positive while also challenging and action-oriented. I give you ‘tough love’ where necessary. Sure it might be challenging, but I tell it like it is and you get the results you’re looking for.

Superpower No. 3
I’m a passionate educator and pass on the best, proven communication strategies to my clients. I always balance the latest research with practical tools and techniques to ‘bulletproof’ your communication, reputation and plans/strategy/team/spokespeople.

I bring all of myself into the ‘room’ – all my experience, knowledge, expertise, enthusiasm, care and compassion too – in order to help you get the results you desire.

Meet Casper
Lessons on Love and Leadership

Janie Jordan and Casper

Meet Casper, my beloved chocolate brown Labrador whom I rescued from the pound in the small community where I live.

Why is he here, you may be asking?

Well, he’s symbolic of many things in life. First, I had always wanted a pure-bred, chocolate brown Labrador- but he also had to be a rescue dog. Now, the chance of finding that exact match in a community of less than 1000 people was remote to say the least!

Yet he showed up…

The lesson:  be careful what you wish for!  When the intent is strong and pure enough then the universe hears and you are rewarded.

Furthermore, Casper is living proof of love and leadership. He arrived into my world a frightened, obese dog who had not only been neglected but clearly abused, based on his behaviour. He was terrified of going through gates, hunched down when I picked up his leash and ate his food at lightning speed. (Yes I know Labradors love their food, but this was eating at warp speed!) So I established a routine for him: regular exercise, regular food and lots of praise for anything he did well, with good manners rewarded. I loved him. I exercised patience. I praised him.  We’ve been together for just over six years, and I cannot imagine life without him!

The lesson:  Communication with the right intent, the right tone and the right body language works wonders. All animals (and we are human animals) respond well to routine and clear, loving instruction.

So, yes, I practice love and leadership - and a firm hand when needed - in my practice.
